A quick guide to getting a great haircut — and keeping everyone happy.

At McComb’s Barbershop, we love our clients — especially the ones who plan ahead.
We don’t do walk-ins, not because we’re fancy or inflexible, but because we value people’s time and our craft. Every client deserves a full, unhurried appointment, all of our barbers deserve to know when their breaks are and what their day looks like.

Recently, someone dropped in between two scheduled cuts, got upset that we couldn’t stop mid-appointment to take him right away, and later left a review about it. Then another guy left a review about that review.
(We’ll give you a second to process that.)

So instead of arguing online, here’s our takeaway for anyone visiting us for the first time:

How Not To:

  1. Don’t assume an empty chair means no appointments.

  2. Don’t take “we’re booked” as an insult — it’s a compliment to the barbers who respect your time.

  3. Don’t review a haircut you never got.

  4. Don’t be a William.

And here’s how to do it right:
✅ Book online.
✅ Show up on time.
✅ Relax — we’ve got you.

At the end of the day, we’re just a small shop that takes pride in doing things right.
Book ahead, kick back, and you’ll always leave looking sharp and ready to get on with your day.
